What this site does not do

• It does not set any cookies — first-party or third-party.
• It does not load Google Analytics, a tag manager, or any advertising pixel.
• It does not embed third-party widgets (no embedded LinkedIn/Instagram feeds — the social icons in the footer are plain links that open those sites separately, in your own browser).
• It does not load fonts from Google Fonts or any other third-party CDN. The Poppins typeface is self-hosted from this domain specifically so that visiting this site never sends your IP address to a font CDN before you've agreed to anything — see the note at the top of piaar-styles.css.

Because nothing here reads or writes information on your device and nothing calls out to a third party before you interact with the page, EU ePrivacy rules on cookie consent (which apply to storing or accessing information on a user's device) don't require a consent banner for this site as it stands today. If that ever changes — for example if we add product analytics — we will add a consent mechanism before that script loads, and update this page first.

Hosting and server logs

This website is a static site with no server-side code or database, hosted by Strato. Like any web server, our hosting provider's own request logs record visitor IP addresses; we use those logs only for security and debugging, not analytics, and we don't cross-reference them with anything in the Piaar app.

Local storage in your browser

The site does not use localStorage, sessionStorage, or any browser storage API. Reload the page and it starts fresh, the same for everyone.

What does happen when you use certain pages

A small number of pages make network requests that are not cookies but are worth being upfront about:

• Sign-in and password-reset confirmation (the page linked from account emails) calls Google's Identity Toolkit API directly, and only when you click a button on that page — never automatically on page load. This is necessary to complete the action you started in the app (confirming an email, resetting a password); it is not analytics or tracking.
• The interactive map inside the Piaar app (not this website) loads map tiles from OpenStreetMap. That is covered in the app's Privacy policy, not here, since it happens inside the app rather than on this site.
